Song(s) in process

Hey all you beautiful creatures. Here are some lyrics I jotted down on Sunday during worship that could be fun if anyone wanted to add onto. I don't have a melody or anything yet, just some unpolished words. Lets all be midwives and help birth some newborn songs to cuddle with.you've heard its been said that real love is tough. but don't you ever, ever give up!The One who is love in its purest. Is calling us to endure this. And to enjoy the enduring; cause something beyond us is occurring.See More

interactive game suggestions

I'm currently employed as youth advocate for zany freshman high school kids at an inner city school in north portland. Its a rewarding and sometimes degrading job where kids call me a hippy and laugh at me and make fun of second hand clothes. I have to battle rap them to keep em in line every now and then. Anyway I'm looking for some ideas for creative games to play with 3-8 kids during our down time when they don't have any homework. any ideas from all you creative folk? something educational… Continue

WILD GOOSE FESTIVAL : SYNTHESIZERS R the FUTURE!

HERE are some random thoughts about stuff: In 2009, my family and I took our first trip to Greenbelt.  We didn't just *go* to Greenbelt, we DID GREENBELT. A group of friends came along and joined us as we modeled our unique articulations of community and playful collaboration.  Before we went, the festival had seemed to us…See More

SOMETHING TO PONDER..

“There is plenty of courage among us for the abstract but not for the concrete.” - Helen Keller

“Love, like truth and beauty, is concrete. Love is not fundamentally a sweet feeling; not, at heart, a matter of sentiment, attachment, or being "drawn toward." Love is active, effective, a matter of making reciprocal and mutually beneficial relation with one's friends and enemies. Love creates righteousness, or justice, here on earth. To make love is to make justice. As advocates and activists for justice know, loving involves struggle, resistance, risk.” - Carter Heyward
